Cajun Dirty Rice
Directions
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
Place the ground beef on the griddle. Break up the beef into small pieces and season with Bayou Bend seasoning. Cook until browned and done.
Add a little olive oil to the griddle, then toss in diced onions, red bell peppers, and celery. Lightly coat with oil, season with SPG seasoning, and cook until onions and peppers are caramelized and softened. If desired, you can speed up this process by adding a splash of water to steam the vegetables.
Slice the andouille sausage and cook alongside the vegetables until heated through and slightly textured.
Sprinkle a light amount of all-purpose flour over the ingredients and allow it to lightly brown and cook down. Mix well when you see the flour starting to brown. You can also spray a little water onto the griddle to release any seasonings that may have stuck, then quickly mix them back in.
Add the cooked rice to the griddle. Toss everything together thoroughly and then plate to serve.
