Directions
Preheat a griddle or frying pan to medium-high heat and add the oil.
Place the hash browns onto the griddle and cook slowly, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy.
Add the bacon and cook until crisp (or how you like it) allowing the fat to render into the cooking surface.
Lightly toast the burger buns on the griddle until just warmed and slightly golden.
Divide the minced beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties or form into balls and snag them on the griddle, then season with salt.
Cook the patties on the hot surface until browned on both sides and cooked to your preference, then place cheese on top and allow it to melt.
Fry the eggs on the griddle until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.
Assemble the burgers by placing a hash brown on the bottom bun, followed by the beef patty with melted cheese, then the bacon and a fried egg.
Add the top bun and serve immediately, adding hot sauce to each bite if desired.
You might want to pair with a strong black, coffee or juice!
