Havarti Bacon BBQ Pub Burger
By Jeremy Puglisi

Ingredients
- Brioche buns
- ¼ lb burger patties (pre-shaped, not smashed)
- 1 slice Havarti cheese per burger
- Burger pickles
- 1 slice bacon per burger, cut in half
- Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
- Mike’s Hot Honey
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce with Mike’s Hot Honey to create the burger sauce. Adjust to taste and set aside.
- Preheat your griddle to medium heat.
- Cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon grease on the griddle.
- Place the brioche buns cut-side down on the griddle and lightly toast them in the bacon grease. Remove and set aside.
- Place the burger patties on the griddle and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- Add a slice of Havarti cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking and allow it to melt.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the cooked patties on the bottom buns. Top each with two pieces of bacon and a couple of burger pickle slices.
- Drizzle the BBQ hot honey sauce over the top, then add the top bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
